 “God’s Foot Solider”

Evangelist Tahkesha T. James is no stranger to the Ministry. She is the granddaughter of a powerful Evangelist, the daughter of a Minister and the wife of a pastor. She didn’t always have a mind to help others unless it was family. She stayed to herself and even applied for jobs where she would be working alone, but God had already planned out a route for her life. 

Evangelist James was raised under the Apostolic Doctrine by several pastors that she respects and feels blessed to have studied and learned much through the anointing on their lives: Pastor John P. Bellamy (deceased), District Elder Michael Bellamy (successor), Pastor Aliean Fitzgerald (deceased) and Evangelist Denise Watson-Gipson. It was under Pastor Fitzgerald that Evangelist James was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and learned what it meant to ‘practice what you preach’. She was an example of ‘living Jesus’ everywhere you go—publicly and privately.  Even before Evangelist James received the Holy Ghost, she began to practice the ways of Christ by reading and studying the Holy Word.

The Lord placed Evangelist James at a facility that aided in molding her for the calling of a Evangelist. Where she wanted to be in the background, God placed Evangelist James at the forefront of the establishment where she gained practice in helping and speaking to people of all nationalities. Look at God! Knowing that there was something more for her to do, Evangelist James continued to help in anyway possible. She was promoted to a position where others relied on her and came to her for counseling. She had prayed for God to guide her according to His Will and in November of 2009, she received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. After prayer and confirmation, Evangelist James accepted her calling in January 2011.

In addition to being an Evangelist, Evangelist James is the First Lady/Co-Pastor of He’s A Wonder Music Ministriesof the Apostolic Faith, where her husband, Bishop Carldale D James Sr., is the Pastor and Founder. They are partnered with A.E.D.T. Dist. Elder Darrin Johnson Sr., is pastor. Together they are preaching the anointed Word of God to souls lost in the sea of sin and bringing them to Jesus Christ. Evangelist James considers herself to be a ‘work in progress’ but believes and has faith in Jesus Christ as her foundation, mentor and Savior.
